Chesapeake Wealth Management has announced Scott Garber as its new president, effective immediately, following the departure of John Sadler from the helm at the end of 2023.
Garber joins having worked as senior vice president at asset management firm Trust Company of Virginia, where he worked in the Williamsburg market for around two decades.
As part of Garber’s thirty-year experience, he also worked in the wealth management divisions of three regional banks located in both New York and New England.
“Scott has a strong background in trust and wealth management and we could not be more excited to have him onboard,” said Jeff Szyperski, chairman, president, and CEO of Chesapeake Bank.
“His experience and roots will be a great fit for our Chesapeake Wealth Management team and we look forward to him hitting the ground running in his new leadership role.”
Chesapeake’s wealth management division is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chesapeake Financial Shares Inc. (OTCQX:CPKF) and is a sister company to Chesapeake Bank.
