Trillion Energy International Inc. (CSE:TCF, OTCQB:TRLEF) unveiled changes in its leadership structure, accompanied by the appointment of David Thompson as interim CFO.
The move follows the termination of Ozge Karalli's position as CFO due to her association with Park Place Energy, the company's subsidiary in Turkey, the company said in a statement.
Thompson, a seasoned figure with three decades of financial expertise in the international oil and gas sector, including roles at Sea Dragon Energy Inc. and Forum Energy Plc, has stepped in to fulfill the role temporarily.
Meanwhile, Kubilay Yildirim has resigned from his directorial position, prompting Trillion Energy to embark on a quest for a replacement. The company aims to finalize this selection process in time for its next annual general meeting slated for July 2024.
Trillion also granted stock options totaling 2,450,000 common shares to directors, employees, consultants, and officers under its 2022 long-term equity incentive plan. These options, exercisable at $0.20 per share for a duration of three years, are subject to specific vesting conditions.
