AFC Energy achieves major milestone with Speedy Hire partnership

AFC Energy PLC (AIM:AFC, OTC:AFGYF), a pioneer in hydrogen power technologies, has achieved a significant milestone with the successful factory acceptance test (FAT) of its first 'state-of-the-art' 30kW H-Power generator.

This development marks a key step forward in the company's collaboration with Speedy Hire, the tools and equipment hire service.

The 30kW generator, the first of its kind, met all the required contractual tests and criteria during the FAT, aligning with the agreements established with Speedy.

The successful completion of the FAT signifies that this zero-emission generator is now prepared for commercial sale to Speedy Hydrogen Solutions, a joint venture focused on hydrogen-powered generators. AFC Energy noted that production of subsequent generators is already underway.

AFC said the JV has sparked significant interest, creating a 'growing pipeline' for the generator technology, which will be showcased at Speedy's Live Expo, scheduled for March 20 and 21.

"This is a major milestone in the delivery of AFC Energy's first H-Power Generator to Speedy Hydrogen Solutions," said the company's CEO Adam Bond.

"We continue to see growth in demand for our hydrogen power generators across the UK and Ireland in partnership with Speedy, as industry continues to transition away from diesel and strive towards decarbonising operations for a more sustainable future".
