Coro Energy PLC (AIM:CORO) has applied to build a second wind farm in Oslob, in The Philippines.
Boasting a capacity of around 100 megawatts it would neighbour Coro’s first wind farm site at Oslob, Cebu, the southeast Asian-focused energy firm said on Monday.
Coro added that the submission for a wind energy service contract was made to The Philippines' energy department following a successful pre-application process.
Coro recently installed a 130-metre-tall meteorological mast in the area, which started to collect data on local wind resource estimates in January.
This will also serve the second project, Coro said, as data is collected over the next twelve months.
