ImmuPharma PLC (AIM:IMM)'s shares surged 35% on Wednesday, buoyed by promising updates on financial and operational fronts, including active discussions with potential commercial partners for its assets.
The company said it had funds enough to meet its immediate needs, while commercial deals for its drug candidates would also help.
Added to this, the group's holding in Incanthera is worth a little less than £1 million, while it also has warrants in the business that are exercisable.
Chief executive Tim McCarthy said: "The board is positive about the short, medium and long-term future for ImmuPharma and thanks all those shareholders who continue to support the company."
The stock was up 0.33p at 1.25p.
