Meta's Facebook and Instagram hit by widespread outage

Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META, ETR:FB2A, SWX:FB) apps Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and Threads underwent widespread outages on Tuesday.

Shares in the parent company were down 1% at $492.91.
