Sidus Space’s LizzieSat successfully launched on SpaceX rideshare mission

Sidus Space Inc's (NASDAQ:SIDU) said its LizzieSat satellite was successfully launched and deployed into low Earth orbit as part of Space X’s Transporter-10 rideshare mission.

Liftoff occurred at 2.05 pm Pacific Time on Monday from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, SpaceX confirmed, with the launch live-streamed on its website.

LizzieSat is poised to revolutionize space-based data collection and analysis with its Space Platform with a Purpose and FeatherEdge AI integration, the company said.

The mission aims to broaden its customer base across military and commercial sectors, providing tailored intelligence solutions in industries such as defense, agriculture, maritime, and oil and gas, Sidus said.

"We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of our first LizzieSat satellite," Sidus CEO Carol Craig said in a statement.

"This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, expertise, and collaboration of our team. LizzieSat epitomizes our commitment to pushing the boundaries of space technology and advancing our mission of Bringing Space Down to Earth."

LizzieSat-2 and LizzieSat-3 are expected to launch on future SpaceX rideshare missions, the company added.

Sidus Space is a multi-faceted space and data-as-a-service satellite company focused on mission-critical hardware manufacturing; multi-disciplinary engineering services; satellite design, production, launch planning, mission operations; and in-orbit support.
