Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) announced that it has established a new business unit targeting the jewellery industry with 3D models, blockchain technology, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The company said this business unit will focus on using the GPT AI AD to 3D texturing platform of its spin-off company Toggle3D.ai Inc (CSE:TGGL, OTCQB:TGGLF). This can convert jewelry CAD files into 4K 3D quad meshes and uses AI to texture the jewelry in yellow gold, white gold or rose gold then, when that is completed, it uses its AI photography studio to create lifestyle images.
Toggle3D.ai intends to license this GPT AI platform to global manufacturers while Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) will handle the sales and marketing for this new business unit.
Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) said its GPT AI tech will remove traditional price and volume barriers which have restricted accessibility to high-quality 3D modelling technology for eCommerce.
“Nextech3D.ai has leveraged its groundbreaking GPT AI-powered technology to dramatically slash the cost of 3D models from CAD files to $10 to $20 while producing the highest quality 4K quad mesh photo realistic models, enabling scalability while creating a new highly profitable business,” the company said in a statement.
The company said it is also working at the integration of 3D modelling with blockchain technology and NFTs, with an initial focus on the jewelry sector, which it believes will enhance authenticity, ownership, and engagement.
“In the jewelry industry, NFTs can be used to authenticate ownership of both physical and digital jewelry pieces, offering a new level of exclusivity and personalization,” the company said, noting that this aligned with modern consumer trends, especially among digital-savvy generations like Generation Z.
“For digital jewelry, NFTs open up avenues for consumers to express themselves in virtual spaces, including social media and virtual reality platforms, where digital assets are becoming increasingly valuable.”
The new business unit will be led by former Meta Platforms and Microsoft executive, Hareesh Achi.
