Shanta Gold Ltd (AIM:SHG, OTC:SAAGF) has postponed the Court Meeting and the General Meeting scheduled for 29 February 2024 to vote on the takeover bid from Saturn Resources after receiving feedback from shareholders.
It is anticipated that the adjourned meetings will be reconvened and held on 28 March 2024, said the statement.
Shanta’s independent directors added there had not been any other proposal or indication of takeover interest from any third party since Saturn made its offer.
