Adriatic Metals hails first concentrate from Vares project

Adriatic Metals PLC (LSE:ADT1, ASX:ADT, OTCQX:ADMLF) said the first concentrate has been produced at the Vares silver project in Bosnia and Herzegovina with ramping up to nameplate capacity now underway.

As part of this process, Jameson flotation cells, which are expected to further increase grade recovery, will be added to the Vares Processing Plant next month.

Adriatic is targeting production of 65,000t per month by the end of 2024.

Paul Cronin, Adriatic's chief executive, commented the first concentrate ticked off another vital milestone for the project and was a major achievement in the region.

“The Vares Processing Plant has been designed and constructed using the latest technology from the leading manufacturers in the industry, whilst adhering to the highest levels of health and safety," he said.

“The Vares Project is one of the largest post-war investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, bringing significant economic and social benefits.”

"Over the coming months further optimisation of the Vares Processing Plant will continue as we expand underground development and bring the operations to nameplate capacity in Q4 2024."
