Silver Bullet Data Services shares rise on new Mars Petcare contract

Silver Bullet Data Services Group PLC (AIM:SBDS) saw its shares rise on Tuesday on a new $2.3 million contract with Mars Petcare US – the Whiskas, Pedigree and IAMS parent company owned by the Mars Family.

It marks a third-year expansion of an existing relationship between the companies.

The London-headquartered small-cap data company, which specialises in ‘privacy-first’ digital marketing, told its investors that the new contract focuses on expanding “digital transformation services” and in particular AI-driven first-party customer data intelligence.

Silver Bullet said it will enhance Mars's customer experience activation, data management, and visualization across various platforms, including Salesforce and third-party generative AI platforms.

"Our enduring partnership with Mars Petcare US, now entering its third year, reflects our commitment to delivering transformative data solutions,” chief executive Ian James said in a statement.

“I am delighted to announce the expansion of our collaboration, supporting Mars across crucial workstreams in data-driven customer experiences.

“The strides we have made together are a testament to the shared commitment to innovation and quality.

“We look forward to another year of mutual growth and success, reinforced by the continued trust and collaboration with Mars Petcare US."

In London, Silver Bullet shares were up 20p or 12.5% changing hands at 180p each.
