Sidus Space Inc (NASDAQ:SIDU) announced that it has successfully completed its contract to deliver critical flight hardware to a prominent European space company.
The company said the hardware includes FeatherEdge edge computing units which will serve as the onboard computer for the customer’s spacecraft.
The FeatherEdge units will facilitate communication between peripheral hardware on the satellite bus, serve as a data handling platform connected to an Earth Observing sensor onboard the satellite, and enable the spacecraft to process and transmit data while in orbit, Sidus highlighted.
