Abitibi Metals Corp (CSE:AMQ, OTC:AMQFF) CEO Jonathon Deluce joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the ongoing drill program at the B26 Polymetallic Deposit. Currently, the company is executing its winter drill program with a target of at least 10,000 meters to be completed by the end of March. This is part of the first phase of a fully funded 30,000-meter field season planned for 2024. Deluce explained that the primary objective of the program is to assess the open-pit potential at the B26 Deposit, aiming to increase the near-surface tonnage along a 1.2-kilometer strike length.
The company is considering the addition of a third drill to sustain the positive momentum generated by these developments. As of now, fourteen holes have been completed, totaling 4,275 meters. The drilling activities in this initial phase are focused on three targets along the strike, with a depth of up to 300 vertical meters. This update underscores Abitibi Metals Corp's commitment to advancing exploration efforts and evaluating the resource potential of the B26 Polymetallic Deposit.
