Evergold Corp (TSX-V:EVER, OTC:EVGUF) unveiled a new target following a high-resolution heliborne magnetic survey conducted over the DEM property in central BC.
The discovery comes in the wake of a successful reconnaissance drill program conducted last year, which confirmed the existence of a porphyry system at DEM1.
Initial assays from the drill program showcased promising grades of various minerals, including gold, silver, molybdenum, cobalt, tungsten, tellurium, and rhenium within a broad mineralized system envelope.
Key intercepts from the fall 2023 drill program include high-grade tungsten and silver, as well as notable concentrations of molybdenum, gold, silver, and rhenium, indicating the rich mineralization potential of the area. Further assays are pending, promising additional insights into the site's mineral wealth.
“We continue to methodically advance the DEM property, and the story is only getting better with each step in the process,” Kevin Keough, Evergold’s CEO said in a statement.
“We will be reporting further on our developing plans for the 2024 field season, to potentially include a combination of drilling in follow-up to the impressive early results from last fall’s recon drill program, along with soil geochemical sampling and an induced polarization geophysical survey over the newly identified DEM2 target.”
Evergold's systematic approach to exploration has yielded promising results, with the discovery of DEM2 adding to the company's growing portfolio of prospects in the region.
