Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS, ETR:WDP), Fox Corp (NASDAQ:FOXA) and Warner Bros Discovery Inc (NASDAQ:WBD, ETR:J5A) have come under fire from FuboTV after proposing a three-way sports streaming service.
Fubo, itself a sports streaming platform, said it had filed an antitrust lawsuit against the trio on Tuesday, arguing such a service would destroy competition and inflate prices.

“Even before their joint venture was announced, we believe these companies have had a clear agenda to eliminate competition,” Fubo said in a post on X - previously Twitter.
“[This is] by forcing distributors like Fubo to carry hundreds of unwanted channels which force higher prices and stifle our innovation, while giving themselves the ability to market and sell live-sport only services without the same restrictions.”
Disney, Fox and Warner Bros unveiled plans for the joint venture earlier in February, with the service set to offer live streams from a range of major sports leagues all in one place.
This includes the likes of American football, basketball and baseball, alongside Nascar motor racing, soccer, golf, tennis, boxing and mixed martial arts.
