Sidus Space Inc (NASDAQ:SIDU) announced that it has successfully completed its Systems Requirements Review (SRR) and Systems Design Review (SDR) for a customer solution being integrated into its LS-3 satellite.
The company noted that the SRR and SDR are important program milestones.
The joint Sidus and customer SRR and SDR reviews evaluated the technical design readiness, joint mission pre-launch tasks to certify the LS-3 for launch, and the mission ops tasks performed in space to achieve mission success.
The parties found that the LS-3 integrated architecture safely meets approved mission success criteria both on schedule and within budget.
Sidus added that the SRR reviewed team specifications to ensure that they reflected the current knowledge and the mission and market requirements to serve as a stable baseline to proceed with development.
It said its team was maturing the design of its customer’s payload for expected integration into the satellite ahead of a launch in the fourth quarter of 2024.
