SpaceandPeople jumps after reporting strong second half

Shares in SpaceandPeople PLC (AIM:SAL) were jostled up 37% to 80p on Monday after the promotions group said revenue last year was slightly better than expected.

It hailed a strong performance in the second half of 2023, particularly from its Brand Experience arm, the launch of its 'Rock Up and Pop Up' retail kiosk service (pictured) and the further recovery of its German retail business.

Sales came in at around £5.8 million, up from £4.7 million in 2022.

SpaceandPeople noted that its accounts are now recognising revenue on a net basis rather than gross, with comparative figures restated.

"Under the new revenue recognition policy, market expectations for FY23 revenue should therefore be adjusted from £6.5 million to £5.7 million. The reassessment does not impact reported profits."
