Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd has moved to expand the ID ecosystem of its membership network project Mocaverse through strategic partnerships with major Web3 wallets OKX Wallet, Crypto.com DeFi Wallet and Halo Wallet.
The company says the partnership will bridge the gap between centralised finance and the on-chain cultural economy, through its recently launched decentralised identity Moca ID (DID).
The Moca ID serves as an access path for the user to move between various Web3 experiences, including PointFi, GameFi and SocialFi while simplifying the onboarding process to the greater Mocaverse.
“The focus of the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet’s has always been to make the world of DeFi and Web3 accessible to everyone,” Crypto.com chief operating officer and president Eric Anziani said.
“We look forward to welcoming even more users into these realms through this partnership with Mocaverse, bringing them new Web3 experiences.”
Emphasising interoperability

“This partnership encompasses the values and mission we set out when we envisioned Moca ID, which is to make interoperability a new standard to onboard new users and redefine the Web3 network effect through the Mocaverse Partner Network.”
Users from all three wallet platforms will be able to claim their unique Moca IDs in-app.
The IDs allow users to earn realm points through participation and engagement, which can be redeemed for access to real-life benefits and rewards provided by Animoca Brands and the Mocaverse.
