Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. (OTC:LBSR) (dba Liberty Star Minerals) has provided an update on its Hay Mountain property in southeast Arizona, suggesting the potential for valuable metals like copper, gold, and molybdenum.
According to insights from Liberty Star’s chief geologist James Bryce and shared by the company, one drill hole revealed important features like potassic alteration and mineralized quartz veins, prompting plans for further drilling.
A second hole, starting deeper in the stratigraphy, revealed significant chemical alteration and sulfide presence, indicating the presence of a hydrothermal system.
The company plans to continue drilling based on these findings, with analytical results expected in due course.
Liberty Star Minerals is advancing exploration efforts on its Hay Mountain property.
The Hay Mountain project is prospective for porphyry copper, gold, molybdenum, and other valuable minerals.
Additionally, the company's exploration stage gold mineralization site, Red Rock Canyon, shows promise with extensive hydrothermal-associated gold-bearing structures documented in historical records.
