The RIU Explorers Conference, an important annual forum for the exploration and mining resources sectors, begins today in Fremantle, Western Australia, at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle - by Rydges and continues on Wednesday and Thursday.
The conference and exhibition continue to attract a strong response from the resources industry, keen to communicate their latest exploration and production successes along with updates on their technical and corporate performances.
Craig Oliver Award
An opening address will be delivered at 8.30am by Jaxon Crabb, business development manager, resources, for conference organisers Vertical Events and this will be followed by the announcement of the Craig Oliver Award.
This award is presented annually to an ‘all round’, small to mid cap Australian mining company which has excelled in areas including exploration, mining, corporate, market results, environmental and community over the past 12 months.
The announcement will be followed by a panel discussion led by conference Gold Sponsor Cannacord Genuity and featuring company executive director Chris Webster along with senior mining analysts Tim, Hoff and Tim McCormack.
