Digital 9 Infrastructure’s rollercoaster ride lurched downward again as competition authorities in Iceland launched a phase 2 probe into the sale of the Verne Global group.
Approval had been expected for the disposal this quarter, but this investigation will take up to 90 working days and potentially extend to 125 working days.
Digital added that the Icelandic anti-trust authority is not obliged to use the full period to conclude its review.
Shares fell 20% to 18.4p.
