ATHA Energy makes strides in acquisition plans with Latitude Uranium and 92 Energy

ATHA Energy Corp (CSE:SASK, OTCQB:SASKF) has updated its shareholders on new developments related to its pending acquisition transactions with Latitude Uranium and 92 Energy Limited.

ATHA said it had gotten more than half of its shareholders to agree to the transactions, while Latitude has started sending out its info packets to shareholders.

The 92E process is moving forward as planned, the company added.

Troy Boisjoli, ATHA’s CEO, told investors that the transactions will position the company to “derive significant value from an industry-leading portfolio of uranium assets”, amid a renewed increase in interest surrounding uranium.

“As we continue to work towards closing, we feel confident that ATHA is moving into a new era of growth and opportunity that is in line with our strategic goal of discovering and developing Canada’s next generation of uranium assets,” Boisjoli said.

ATHA boasts extensive land holdings, particularly within the Athabasca Basin and Thelon Basin, renowned for their rich uranium deposits. With a total acreage of 6.4 million, ATHA maintains a significant presence in these prime geological regions.

Additionally, ATHA holds a notable 10% interest portfolio in claims within the Athabasca Basin, actively managed by industry leaders NexGen Energy Ltd. and Iso Energy Ltd.
