Versarien PLC (AIM:VRS, OTC:VRSRF) said it received various unquantified claims against it and the company's directors from former chief executive Neil Ricketts under the 1996 Employment Act.
The company and its directors intend to vigorously defend the claims and are taking legal advice, said the statement.
A preliminary hearing for the case management has been scheduled for 17 July 2024.
Ricketts resigned as the engineering and graphene group’s chief executive on 10 March 2023.
