Spectral AI Inc (NASDAQ:MDAI) has told investors that interim results of ongoing clinical trials designed to validate its DeepView System will be “promising”.
This includes tests of the medical imaging company’s DeepView system in offering wound healing assessments in burn victims and those with diabetic foot ulcers.
Spectral AI said in a letter to shareholders that the use of its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered DeepView for such cases would likely generate revenue for the company through four separate platforms within three years.
Initial commercial revenue could be generated as early as this year, Spectral AI explained, with DeepView Snapshot currently being assessed by regulators in both the US and UK.
Spectral AI’s DeepView Burn platform was submitted for assessment in the UK last month meanwhile, and is anticipated to be submitted to the US Food and Drug Administration early next year, the company added.
“The company believes that this proprietary platform technology can revolutionize the standard of care in wound assessment and treatment for burn and diabetic foot ulcer indications,” Spectral AI said.
