Troilus Gold Corp (TSX:TLG, OTCQX:CHXMF) has announced Susanna Milne as its new chief financial officer following Denis C. Arsenault’s retirement.
Chartered professional accountant Milne boasts almost two decades of experience in the mining sector, Troilus said in an update on Monday, including through significant roles at QMX Gold Corporation and Avion Gold Corporation.
She joined Canadian-based junior Toilus in 2017 and has stepped up to the role after working directly under Arsenault.
“Denis has been the cornerstone of our finance team from the very beginning, instrumental in laying the financial groundwork for Troilus' future endeavours,” chief executive Justin Reid commented.
“Under his guidance and leadership, Susanna has demonstrated herself to be a dedicated and proven leader and over the last year has been fully prepared for her new responsibilities to ensure a seamless transition.”
Arsenault’s retirement comes after a 45-year career in the mining industry, with his resignation having been effective since February 1.
