Proactive oil & gas weekly: Deltic Energy, Mosman Oil, Scirocco Energy...

Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd (AIM:MSMN) has bolstered its capital position, raising £300,000 before expenses through a placing of shares.

The junior energy firm, in a statement, said proceeds from this placing will support Mosman's helium and hydrogen exploration projects (EP145 and EPA155), in Australia.

Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd (AIM:MSMN)’s net production totalled 2,725 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) (circa 30 boe per day) in the three months to end-December versus net production of 3,564 boe (circa 39 boepd) in the prior September quarter.

The lower production rates were primarily due to changes in production infrastructure and managing sand produced with the oil at Stanley, said Mosman, which should facilitate higher production rates in 2024.

Chariot Ltd's (AIM:CHAR, OTC:OIGLF) part-owned transition energy venture Etana Energy has now entered into a Power Purchase Agreement with Growthpoint Properties.

The agreement sees Etana, which is 49% owned by Chariot, deliver some 195 gigawatt hours (GWh) of renewable energy per year to Growthpoint in South Africa.

Diversified Energy Company PLC (LSE:DEC, NYSE:DEC) (DEC) chief executive Rusty Hutson highlighted “strategic progress and solid financial performance”, as the company told investors it traded in line with expectations in 2023.

The oil and gas producer, in a statement ahead of its financial results, reported that output averaged 136 barrels oil equivalent per day in the year and it anticipates reporting earnings (adjusted EBITDA) of between US$540 million to US$545 million.

Chariot Ltd (AIM:CHAR, OTC:OIGLF) chief executive Adonis Pouroulis told investors that the company has “multiple important catalysts” due in the coming months.

The start of drilling on the onshore Loukos project in Morocco, which remains 75% owned by Chariot, will rank high among the catalysts currently looked forward to by the company and its investors.
