AJN Resources Inc (CSE:AJN) CEO Klaus Eckhof joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with details of a percussion drilling program at its Manono Northeast lithium project located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo after delays due to heavy rainfall.
The drill holes will reach a maximum depth of 50 meters or until bedrock can be identified.
Previous exploration programs at the project have led to the identification of tin mineralization and lithium grades up to 400 parts per million.
Eckhoff said the program aims to better understand the underlying geology and identify potentially mineralized pegmatites in an area where surficial cover generally reaches depths of more than 6 metres, which is similar to the area that hosts the Manono tin deposit.
