Zinc8 Energy Solutions (CSE:ZAIR) has welcomed Scott Larson, a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, technology development and entrepreneurship, to its board of directors.
Larson brings extensive leadership experience, currently serving as the CEO of Vancouver-based NewSpace company SpaceAlpha Insights and having previously served as the CEO of satellite firm Helios Wire.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the board of Zinc8 and supporting it in any way I can, particularly as we look to further the technology and scale the company,” Larson said in a statement.
Zinc8 said Robert Parker will be transitioned off the board and into an enhanced executive role with the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Zinc8 Energy Solutions (CSE:ZAIR) USA Inc.
As chairman and CEO of Zinc8 USA, Parker will drive the company’s pursuit of growth opportunities in the US energy storage industry.
Also joining the board of Zinc8 USA is Doug MacDonald, who has experience launching new technologies in sustainable packaging and photovoltaic manufacturing, with his responsibilities including leading the development, evaluation, testing, expansion and certification of these technologies.
He has worked with market leaders across diverse sectors including Applied Materials, Q-Cells, MiaSole, GT Solar, Dow Corning, VRB, Siemens, GE, Samsung, Evergreen Solar/Sovello, REC and Alta Devices.
