VanadiumCorp appoints new CFO

VanadiumCorp Resource Inc (TSX-V:VRB) has appointed Tony Giuliano as its new CFO, effective immediately, succeeding James Ross.

Giuliano, a seasoned finance executive with over 40 years of experience, brings expertise in financial management, controls, and transactions.

VanadiumCorp said Giuliano’s strategic planning and restructuring accomplishments align with the company’s goals as it transitions to industrial operations in the first quarter of 2024.

Giuliano's focus includes guiding the company's entry into electrolyte production for Canadian, US, and EU markets.

"We are delighted to have Tony join the VanadiumCorp team,” CEO Paul McGuigan said in a statement. “His proven leadership in strategic planning and operations management will be invaluable to the board as the company seeks to realize our strategy of commencing production of vanadium electrolytes in Val-des-Sources, Québec in Q1 2024 and advancing on our strategic vanadium, titanium, and iron mineral resource at Lac Doré, Québec."

VanadiumCorp aims to establish a consistent supply of high-quality vanadium electrolytes for the global market of Vanadium Flow Batteries, with its primary manufacturing facility located in Val-des-Sources, Québec. The company's access to vanadium feedstock is contingent on the development of its vanadium-titanium-iron mineral deposits, including the flagship Lac Doré deposit near Chibougamau, Québec.
