Sidus Space Inc (NASDAQ:SIDU) announced that its LizzieSat satellite has arrived at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California ahead of its upcoming launch scheduled for no earlier than March 2024 on SpaceX's Transporter 10 mission.
The Cape Canaveral, Florida-based company said that upon arrival at the base its team began final flight preparations ahead of LizzieSat’s integration with the launch vehicle.
LizzieSat’s mission involves coincident data collection via multiple sensors and receivers, including hyperspectral, multispectral, AIS and optical, to support a range of industries including agriculture, maritime and oil and gas.
The company’s onboard FeatherEdge AI system will process the imagery and sensor data to offer tailored solutions to customers, Sidus highlighted.
The receipt of data from LizzieSat is expected to start 30 days after the satellite’s deployment.
