Cloud DX inks remote care monitoring contract with VHA Home HealthCare

Cloud DX (TSX-V:CDX, OTCQB:CDXFF) announced that it has signed a contract for its remote care monitoring platforms with VHA Home Healthcare (VHA), a not-for-profit organization which offers nursing and other home support services to more than 100,000 clients in Ontario, Canada.

The company said under the agreement it will provide VHA with remote care monitoring software and devices that support the completion of surveys, biometric readings, and virtual interactions between patients and care teams.

The initial 24-month contract was signed on December 19, 2023, and can be extended upon mutual agreement.

It is expected that Cloud DX (TSX-V:CDX, OTCQB:CDXFF)’s Connected Health remote care monitoring platform will be deployed to a “significant proportion” of eligible clients during the initial period of the contract, the company said.

"The Cloud DX (TSX-V:CDX, OTCQB:CDXFF) team is honoured and excited to partner with VHA, an organization whose values and mission are aligned with ours,” Cloud DX chief operating officer Anthony Kaul said in a statement.

“Cloud DX delivers the innovative solutions, services and technology needed to impact new models of hospital-to-home, transitional and community-based care delivery through VHA's tremendous reach. Together Cloud DX and VHA can improve patient outcomes, keeping Ontarians out of hospital and safe in their homes, while helping to build a more integrated healthcare system."

VHA vice president of digital health and chief information officer Alistair Forsyth added that implementing a remote care monitoring platform is an important example of how VHA uses innovative technology to empower its clients and help keep them safe and healthy at home.

“We are excited to be embarking on this collaborative partnership with Cloud DX, a Canadian leader in patient-facing digital solutions,” Forsyth said.

Cloud DX aims to make healthcare better for everyone by accelerating digital healthcare. The company’s Connected Health remote patient monitoring platform is used by healthcare enterprises and care teams across North America to virtually manage chronic disease, enable aging in place, and deliver hospital-quality post-surgical care in the home.
