Ionic Rare Earths Ltd (ASX:IXR, OTC:IXRRF) has hit the ground running this year and managing director Tim Harrison joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to talk through developments so far. IXR was recently granted the Makuutu Central Zone Large Scale Mining Licence, which marked the first large-scale mining licence to be awarded in Uganda. Harrison discusses the significance of that milestone as well as The Ugandan Directorate of Geological Survey and Mines renewal of Exploration Licence 00147. Further to this subsidiary Ionic Technologies International started operating its magnet recycling demonstration plant 24/7, which is likely to bring further supply chain and partnership advantages. Finally, while there has already been significant newsflow this year including today’s appointment of Brett Lynch as executive chairman, Harrison discusses what shareholders can expect in the coming months.
