Duras conveyed to Proactive that the discovery at Luz Maria, when combined with the validation of size and grade metrics at the Caña Brava 1 prospect, represents a pivotal moment in the company's trajectory. Western Metallica Resources is now poised to embark on further target definition work and the initiation of initial scout drilling operations, all geared towards probing this newfound discovery situated within one of the world's most renowned porphyry belts. In addition to this exciting discovery, Western Metallica also shared positive results stemming from the preliminary analysis and qualitative interpretation of a recently acquired unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) magnetic survey, covering an expansive area of approximately 58 square kilometers.
The UAV magnetic survey has identified two distinct zones characterized by high susceptibility, likely indicative of intrusive stocks, and intriguingly, zones of demagnetization surrounding these intrusives.
