Botala Energy Ltd (ASX:BTE) CEO Kris Martinick joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss a critical milestone in the development of the Naledi coal bed methane (CBM) gas project at Serowe, Botswana. The company has now received the necessary environmental approvals, which paves the way for the company to apply for a Mining Licence, with applications already in progress. Botala has restarted operations for 2024 and is nearing completion of its feasibility study and preparations for the mining licence for Naledi, which is expected to be awarded this month. The company is also advancing the nearby Pitse Project and the maiden commercial well pilot there. Finally, Martinick discusses the company’s expectations for 2024.
