RespireRx Pharmaceuticals (OTC:RSPI) has strengthened its board, with the appointment of Dr Dariusz Nasiek as a director.
The drug discovery firm focussed on psychiatric and neurological disorders, in a statement, said that Nasiek brings valuable experience to the board with his background in both medicine and business.
Nasiek's has medical expertise in anesthesiology and interventional pain management. His resume includes senior roles at Allied Neurology & Interventional Pain Practice and Hackensack Surgery Center.
He is also a published thought leader, in areas of pain management and regenerative medicine, with his latest publication being focused on Platelet Rich Plasma therapy.

“He brings considerable value not only his status as an outside director, but the perspective that he provides because of his considerable clinical experience in the areas in which RespireRx is developing its compounds: treatment of respiratory disorders and spinal injury with our AMPAkine platform and the development of our GABAkines for use as non-narcotic analgesics and for treatment resistant epilepsy.”
