MTB Metals (TSX-V:MTB, OTCQB:MBYMF) CEO Lawrence Roulston joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share assay results from drill holes at the Telegraph Project in British Columbia Roulston explained that a 700-meter step-out from drill hole DOK2023-01 has intersected several copper-gold intervals. These initial drill holes have confirmed the presence of a porphyry hydrothermal system that spans at least 3.3 kilometres, including the open-ended Dok Trend.
The company believes there is significant exploration potential along the Dok Trend, supported by drilling results, continuous induced polarization (IP) chargeability anomalies, fertile porphyry intrusive units, and anomalous copper and gold soil geochemistry. Looking ahead, MTB Metals is collaborating with the Mineral Deposit Research Unit at the University of British Columbia (MDRU) to characterize the various porphyritic intrusive phases encountered in drilling and on the surface. The goal is to identify the more fertile phases of intrusions and gain a better understanding of the project's geology overall. This ongoing exploration and partnership with MDRU are key elements of MTB Metals' strategy to unlock the full potential of the Telegraph Project.
