Sheryl Sandberg announced plans to leave the Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:FB) (Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:FB)) board of directors in May in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
The former chief operating officer joined Facebook in 2008 and was named to its board in 2012.
“With a heart filled with gratitude and a mind filled with memories, I let the Meta board know that I will not stand for reelection this May,” Sandberg wrote.
Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL, ETR:APC) will again be unable to sell Apple Watch models with blood oxygen sensors starting Thursday following a federal circuit court order.
The US Court of Appeals order lifted an injunction that had prevented a US International Trade Commission ban on the watches from going into effect while Apple’s appeal is pending. The court did not rule on the appeal itself.
The ITC placed the ban on the Apple products towards the end of 2023 after Masimo, the medical technology company, claimed the watches infringed on two of its patents.
