Talon Metals drills high grade nickel equivalent at Tamarack project in Minnesota

Talon Metals Corp. (TSX:TLO, OTC:TLOFF) announced assay results from various new drill holes within the 'Raptor Zone' at its majority-owned Tamarack nickel-copper-cobalt project in Minnesota, which included 2.2 metres (m) of 9.31% nickel equivalent.

The base metals company said the Raptor Zone lies to the north of its Resource Area and represents a new area with the potential for significant exploration upside at the Tamarack project.

Talon noted that drilling to date suggests 250m of continuous high-grade nickel-copper mineralization in the Raptor Zone.

As well, the company stated that the potential for a new resource from the Raptor Zone has increased and further drilling is planned throughout 2024 with the goal of expanding the mineralization in this new and previously untested area.

Talon Metals is a TSX-listed base metals company developing the high-grade Tamarack project in Minnesota in a joint venture with Rio Tinto.
