Ondine Biomedical Inc (AIM:OBI, OTC:OBIMF) has announced the appointment of JP Errico as its new chief financial officer, with the new director responsible for managing and developing the company’s finance function.
Errico will also manage the company’s capital markets interface, participate in talks with large health sector counterparties and work closely with Ondine’s management team on overall growth strategy, the company noted in a statement.
The company, meanwhile, highlighted Errico’s track record that includes the founding and sale (or float) of several medical device and pharmaceutical companies – such as lectroCore, Fastenetix, K2 Medical Systems, AD4-Pharma, E2 and SpineCore. Companies he has been involved with have generated over US$20 billion in sales from patented products, Ondine added.
"We are delighted that JP has agreed to join Ondine at this exciting time,” chief executive Carolyn Cross said in a statement.
“His experience in finance, capital markets and developing medtech companies will be invaluable as we move forward with our international expansion and achieving FDA approval in conjunction with our partner HCA Healthcare."
Errico, meanwhile, commented: “Ondine represents a unique opportunity to create shareholder value while heading off one of humanity's greatest health threats, antimicrobial resistance.
“I am proud to be joining an excellent team of professionals as Ondine brings this critically needed technology to the world."
