Africa Oil announces results of share buyback program

Africa Oil Corp (TSX:AOI) told investors it repurchased a total of 522,000 Africa Oil common shares between January 11 and January 12, 2024, under its previously announced share buyback program. The repurchases included 192,000 Africa Oil common shares on the TSX and/or alternative Canadian trading systems and 330,000 Africa Oil common shares on Nasdaq Stockholm. Under the program, which started on December 6, 2023, and ends on December 5, 2024, the company may repurchase a maximum of 38,654,702 of its shares. All common shares repurchased under the share buyback program will be cancelled.
