OpenAI debuts GPT Store for customized AI applications

OpenAI has launched the GPT Store, a marketplace where users can buy and sell custom artificial intelligence (AI) applications built using ChatGPT.

The store can be found within ChatGPT, and users will be able to publish and eventually monetize their own personalized GPTs designed to handle custom tasks.

The GPT Store, which OpenAI announced at its developer day in November, will be available initially to those paying for ChatGPT plans, the company said.

GPT creators are expected to be able to monetize their creations at some point in the coming months.

Additionally, OpenAi announced the launch of ChatGPT Team, a version of ChatGPT designed for businesses to purchase for employees, allowing them to use ChatGPT at work.

ChatGPT can cordon off company data, meaning that any information employees provide ChatGPT stays within the company.

The program costs $25 to $30 per user, according to reports.
