Cornish Metals Inc (AIM:CUSN, TSX-V:CUSN, OTC:SBWFF) has appointed Samantha Hoe-Richardson as independent non-executive director, effective immediately.
Hoe-Richardson, 52, is an experienced non-executive director from a global mining, infrastructure and insurance background, Cornish Metals added.
A non-executive director currently of Kew Soda, Assured Guaranty UK, Ascot Underwriting Limited, 3i Infrastructure and an advisor at Laing O'Rourke, Hoe-Richardson was head of Environment & Sustainable Development at Network Rail until 2017 and before that spent 16 years at Anglo American.
Patrick Anderson, Cornish Metals' chair, stated: “Samantha's experience in both Sustainability/ESG and Finance will be a great addition to the board's skill set.”
Cornish Metals is working on re-opening the South Crofty tin mine in Cornwall.
