Artemis Resources appoints director with commercial and corporate finance experience

Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV, AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) has bolstered the commercial and corporate skillset of its board through the appointment of Christopher Kelsall as a director of the company with immediate effect.

Kelsall brings to Artemis more than 30 years of international commercial and corporate finance experience, with leadership roles spanning business development, finance, strategy, transformation, operations, risk management and external stakeholder relations.

The appointment takes effect today and comes as Dr Simon Dominy resigns as a director with the board taking the opportunity to thank him for his service to the company.

Experience

Kelsall spent 15 years in equity capital markets advisory roles, primarily at Deutsche Bank and ABN AMRO Rothschild in London, Sydney and Hong Kong.

He has subsequently held executive and non-executive positions in several sectors, including clean tech, banking, resources and energy.

Artemis’ new director began his career as a commercial solicitor, initially at Parker & Parker (now

Herbert Smith Freehills) in Perth, Western Australia, and subsequently within the corporate team at its then Sydney affiliate, Allen Allen & Hemsley.

He holds degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Western Australia and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
