The Consumer Electronics Show kicks off Monday night in Las Vegas when some 130,000 attendees will gather for a glimpse at the future of artificial intelligence and other technologies.
Siemens CEO Roland Busch will kick things off at 6:30 pm MT Monday with a keynote address, with addresses later in the week from L’Oréal CEO Nicolas Hieronimus, Snap Inc (NYSE:SNAP) CEO Evan Spiegel, Walmart Inc (NYSE:WMT) CEO Doug McMillon, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) CEO Patrick Gelsinger and more.
Google, Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN, ETR:AMZ), General Electric (NYSE:GE), LG, Honda and Mercedes-Benz are among the other high-profile names that will be present this week.
Ahead of the conference proper, the CES Unveiled event has given media an early look Sunday and Monday at some of the companies whose tech will be on display.
Attendees will be able to peruse a bevy of AI-powered contraptions, including the Mammotion Luba AWD 5000 lawn-mowing robot, an all-in-one washer dryer from GE, an AI-powered baby stroller and a mechanic exoskeleton designed to assist with manual labor, according to reports.
Then there’s NuraLogix, which uses AI to analyze a user’s selfie and determine health data like how old their skin is and their risk level for certain diseases.
"The 30-second selfie goes to our cloud, and from our cloud, we're able to give you things like heart rate, respiration, blood pressure, you're risk of heart attack and stroke, and a number of other different measurements," said Vince Traylor, the company’s director of sales and partnerships, as reported by Euronews.
