Diamond Lake Minerals Inc (OTC:DLMI) announced it is teaming up with online tree planting platform Evertreen for a major tree-planting initiative.
The two companies will work together to address deforestation, support habitat protection, and advance United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
In a statement, Diamond Lake said it had started planting 500 mangrove trees in Kenya. The mangroves are expected to absorb 154 tons of carbon dioxide over their lifespan, playing a crucial role as coastal protectors and aiding in climate change mitigation.

"We are committed to doing everything we can, with the power and reach of DLMI, our subsidiaries, and the support of our wonderful partners around the world, to bring attention and focus to deforestation,” Diamond Lake CEO Brian Esposito told shareholders.
Diamond Lake has committed to planting additional trees every month from January 2024 onward, with the aim of planting "millions" of trees over the next decade.

Evertreen, the online tree-planting platform operating worldwide, enables users to plant trees and track them via satellite. Evertreen's trees are planted directly by local farmers, bringing environmental, social, and economic benefits to communities around the globe.
