Discovery Alaska Ltd (ASX:DAF, OTC:DRVYF) director Jerko Zuvela joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive Australia studio to discuss a “transformational” agreement to conduct mineral exploration, mineral development and production activities at the Vinasale Gold Project in Alaska. The binding agreement with Doyon Ltd, an Alaska Native Regional Corporation, is expected to significantly advance Discovery Alaska’s growth strategy. The project has been inactive for 10 years, when the gold price was just US$2000 per ounce. The project also hosts a reported historical NI 43-101 inferred resource of 22 million tonnes averaging 1.53 g/t gold for 1.08 million ounces of gold and indicated resources of 2.29 million tonnes at 1.84 g/t for 135,000 ounces (using a 1g/t cut-off grade) at the Central Zone prospect. Jerko discusses the resource and the period of growth he believes the company is set to go through as work begins at Vinasale and it becomes the company’s primary asset.
