The board of forestry company Woodbois Ltd (AIM:WBI, OTC:WODBF) has had a major shakeup with the departure of chief executive David Rothschild in place of executive chair Guido Theuns.
Theuns will now serve as chief executive and executive chair simultaneously under a broad restructuring strategy to “drive operational efficiency”, read the press statement.
Woodbois has delineated three profit centres as part of the group’s company reorganisation, namely the sawmill division, veneer factory division and carbon credits projects division.
According to the group, these strategic changes “will position the company for long-term success in a dynamic and competitive market”.
