Renforth Resources Inc (CSE:RFR, OTCQB:RFHRF) told investors that it has received positive assay results from five grab samples at the Beaupré copper discovery in the north-eastern part of the Surimeau property in Quebec, Canada.
The company said that the grab samples were taken from the “main vein” and vein walls on either side and have again confirmed the presence of copper and silver mineralization on surface.
Additional grab samples were unable to be taken due to weather challenges, with low temperatures making the removal of overburden difficult due to the freezing of exposed dirt and rock, it said.
“Assay results in this press release confirm the visual mineralization on surface seen in the field at Beaupré, unfortunately this was only possible in a couple of locations due to weather challenges, however, we will return to this area of our Surimeau property in the future,” Renforth Resources CEO Nicole Brewster said in a statement.
“While the priority at Surimeau is definitely the 20km long mineralized Victoria structure, a copper discovery striking towards, and on surface within 500m of, the Cadillac Break cannot be ignored. We do not yet know if this is significant, however this work, once completed, may help answer that question.”
The CEO noted that drill results from its November 2023 program at Victoria are pending.
