Supermarket Income REIT PLC (LSE:SUPR, OTC:SUPIF) has declared an interim dividend of 1.515p per share, its second quarterly dividend, covering the final quarter of the calendar year.
With the company's shares trading at a discount to the net tangible assets, the board said it believes that it is not in the best interests of shareholders to offer the scrip dividend alternative.
It has therefore exercised its discretion to suspend the scrip, meaning shareholders will receive the second dividend in cash, though the board will keep a scrip under consideration for future payouts.
