Artemis joint venture completes maiden drilling program

Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV, AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) has hailed news of the maiden drilling programme being successfully completed at its Osborne Joint Venture Project.

Pointing to an update from Greentech Metals Ltd, which has a 51% interest in the lithium venture, Artemis executive director George Ventouras greeted the news.

“We are very pleased that the maiden drilling program has been successfully completed,” he said. “The information gathered will prove invaluable for the next phase of ground activity.”

Artemis holds the remaining 49% interest in the venture, with the diamond drilling programme having targeted known spodumene-bearing pegmatites.

Two holes were drilled at the Osborne site, which sits in Australia’s west Pilbara region, where previous rock chip samples from the area have returned assay results of up to 3.6% lithium oxide.

Samples from the latest drilling have been dispatched for mineralogical analysis and assay meanwhile, with results expected early next year.

“This now sets the scene for further exploration and potential drilling in the first quarter of 2024,” Ventouras added.

Artemis shares climbed 2.8% to 1.15p.
